Before the Story ~ My Bob is Literature ~

On borrowing "A Street Cat Named Bob" written by Jame Bowen from my hairstylist, I started reading. I did not stop reading it until over half pages of the book. It was not only interesting but also I found Jame' life has a similarity with my life. I am, however, amazed with James, who has been solving his matters by himself. Of course, he would not do it without Bob. But James attracted Bob, which ended up encouraging him to live or independent. 

In my case, actually I do not have kind of Bob in my life. I'll tell you about myself first. 

Brought up with 4 sisters, I could describe myself, which I am like Lizzy or Cordelia, who were more independent than other sisters. Yes, I can say that. I do not need properties, heritage or fortune without any efforts of my life. However, life is tough. Even though I tried to be like Lizzy or Cordelia, my life didn't work like them. 

I was never strong physically and mentally. 

I wanted to be strong.

I had friends but I didn't think I understand them from the bottom of my heart. It was just because they seemed to believe in there is only the way to survive for women to depend on men.  Yes, they could be right, but I wanted to live my life with my own. 

Also my problem was that I couldn't find any attractive books after I read "Kokoro" by Soseki Netsume. After that, there were lots of bad things happened to me. I, finally, couldn't focus on reading. 

However, one day, my colleague lent me a nonfiction book written by Haruki Murakami. Not being book lover, I started reading it. It was not long before, I got drawn by the book, especially I was dragged into his manipulate writing skill with lots of metaphor and witted expression.  Since then, I have had no problem with reading. 

After that, luckily I could be back to school, in which I studied English literature. I started reading again. I devoted myself into reading.  Not only I could have education, but also my life was getting better. Spending money a lot, I was facing financial crisis. Finally, I realised that I must fix my life and started learning bookkeeping, solving my financial problem as well. And now I feel this, 

As if James found Bob in his apartment, I found reading and good books.
