One of my students and I started reading a book, of which title is "Snow White". She chose it for reading because it belongs to Disney and the pictures attract many girls. Anyway, her English level is low enough to read the book. So I had to fix it to her level. But I stopped it, because I found out that expressions were so beautiful and colourful that it could make her understand more. And we started reading it. Probably, usual Japanese English text books describe Snow White like this, "Her hair was black, her lips were red and her skin was white." But the original text is, "Her hair is black as dark night, her lips were red as a rose and her skin was as white as newly fallen snow." Adding just a few words, you could put more image about Snow White in your mind. As if you drew pictures of Snow White in your mind... It would be kind of a magic. So we cherish all the words because they were created by us. I convinced that it is the best way to learn En...

Believe it or not, I've got good luck... Got greetings from workers, students and teachers at my work... Got presents from my senior and students... Students became well behaved... Got new friends... Will see good friends from HK, Aus and UK... Survived from such scorching and stifling summer ... Got a good result of my medical check... These things have happened Since I took care of my toilet, clean it every time I use... Yes, just try!! Try cleaning your toilet!! Easy, isn't it! And you will get the most luck!

During the late 80s, there was a big rock concert in that park. Just once a year and just on that day, people gave outrageous attention to that park just for the concert. That park was packed by the crowds even though it was usually almost empty. Those days, the rock musicians were young enough and had just started their career. And then, they were growing up with that park... 20 years passed... That park is always full of people. The rock musicians are mature enough to get fame and popularity. Both of them have been growing up since 80s...

あの公園では、みんながそれぞれ色々なことをしていて、 誰も他人が何をしても気にかけない。 たとえば、広場の隅で、アコースティックギターの練習をしていても、 ローラーブレードの練習をしていても、本を読んでいても、 縄跳びをしていても、 みんなそれぞれの世界を楽しんでいる。 だから、誰も他人の世界に介入してこない。 よく考えると、そんな公園、他にあるだろうか？ しかし、忙しい日々の中で、あの公園のことを忘れてしまっていた。 なんだか仕事や様々なしがらみに縛られる生活が嫌で、 自由を求め、東京へ出た。 でも、結局、外から客観的に見て、故郷の良さが分かってきた。 それで１０年ぶりに戻ってきた。 そして、あの公園に行ってみた。 桜の木々は大きく成長していたけれど、 変わっていないのは、公園は大きく自分を包んでくれたことだ。 １０年前と一緒で、アコースティックギターの練習やローラーブレードなどを 自由にできる。そして、公園が自分を守ってくれている気がした。 １０年前に、若さ余って故郷を出たけれど、あの公園は まるで、「おかえり」って言ってくれてるかのように、自分を受け入れてくれた気がした。 何となく、新約聖書のルカの放蕩息子の話みたいに・・・。 あの公園は自分を許してくれたんだ。 「ありがとう」 そして、今、BBQに誘われ、あの公園に来ている。明日は、あの公園をジョギングする。 楽しいことがいっぱい起こりそう。 ＊以上。。。これは、今度書くお話のアウトラインです。。。 お楽しみに。。。

In that park, people are doing whatever they want. Nobody cares what others are doing. Some are playing the guitar. Others are rollerblading. That is, there is freedom in that park. You can do whatever you want in the park. You could possibly speak out in that park. But she forgot about that park due to her hectic every day life. So she got fed up and left the town and started her new life in a big city. However, she missed her hometown very much. So she came back there. Going to that park, there is nothing to change apart from growth of the trees. People are doing whatever they want. Playing the guitar, listening to music, jogging, reading books, rollerblading... However, she realised that park welcomes people including her. As if it said, "Welcome back!". 10 years ago, she left the town. At that time, she was young and immature. As if she had betrayed that park though it allowed her to do anything. But it forgave her. The thing is like the story in the Bible. She now...

今年の夏休みは、神戸と東京へ行ってきました。 久しぶりに貧乏旅行です。学生みたいに、JRの青春１８きっぷで行きました。 神戸は英語劇団のリハーサルを見に行きました。 東京は、遊びです。 東京のことを書きます。 東京で泊まったのはスゴイ安宿。。。一泊２１００円で、 ドミトリーです。でも、意外ときれいでした。 ただ、場所が…。南千住というところで、バリバリの下町です。 朝は、日雇い労働者の長い列ができ、昼間も失業者がうろうろしているという ところでした。｢まいったなぁ・・」という感じでしたが、住めば都ですね。。。 なんだか情がわいてきました。 というのは、あの地域の日雇いの人や失業者の人たちは、おとなしくて、 変な声をかけたりとか、そういうことはしません。それどころか、朝は 「おはよう」って言ってくれます。 ただ、南千住は東京では「悪い場所」に挙げられているようです。たぶん、 名古屋でいえば、川の向こうの向こうのようなものでしょう。[私が住んでるところですけど） だけど、ネットで南千住を調べると、私が感じたように思っている人も多いです。 だって、いわゆる繁華街とかお金持ち地域は人が冷たいですよ。あの人たちって、田舎モノっていう目で見てくるし。。。。（でも、あの人たちだって「～だべ」とかいうような地域出身だと思いますけど） それに犯罪だって多いじゃないですか。。。 と考えると、南千住、がんばってほしいなぁ・・・。今度、東京行くときも、あそこに泊まろうと思います。 とりあえず、南千住のことをどこかに書きとめたくて、今日は日記を書きました。

Tokyo is a attractive city. It is because Tokyo has some faces, such as skyscrapers, modern fashion, animation, high technologies and etc... On the other hand, still traditional shrines as well as temples still remain. Modern and tradition are combined each other. At the same time, wealthy and poverty just individually exist. It seems that poverty causes troubles more than wealthy. But reality is ..... In the centre of the city, there are quite a lot of crazy things to be happened. Someone stubbed others with a knife. The other pick pocketed or burgled. Envies, laziness, jealous, narrow-minds, ignorance, immature and etc might cause such things. In a so-called poverty area, there are lots of unemployed people making a long cue to get a job every morning. They are just living the day. So there are no such words like envies or jealous in their minds. But one of them said to a visitor (me), "Good morning." Such a simple communication made me happy. I wonder if it would happ...

She likes big cities like New York, London, Tokyo, Berlin and etc... However, she lives in not such a city but a local city in Japan. It could be nothing exciting. So she went to the big city for her holidays. However, people there were not friendly to someone from a rural area. As if they looked down on her just because she came from a rural area. They could have recognised from her speaking as well as wearing. But wait! There are lots of people from rural areas in the big city. So they could be the people from countryside. Just try speaking to them as much as possible. by doing this, you might get to know and be a friend with them.

I've got the hint of my story from the book today. "Happening occurs without any expectation. But you need to prepare for it just in case. For example, you have many possibilities in your life and learn things every day. But one day you may give up due to long time to wait for a chance in your life. However, happening suddenly comes to you without any expectation. If you are ready to cope with it, there is no problem. But if you are lazy about it, you may not fail or miss the chance. That's why we learn things every day. That's all about what I want to teach my students. "

If the travel agency which recommended you some packaging tours, which would you choose for your summer holidays? (you could visit places as well as old days.) 1. American Dream Tour ~ 1920s of New York for 10 days ~ 2. American Dream Tour ~ 50s of New York for 10 days ~ 3. Back to the Brilliant Golden Times, 80s ( Showa ) in Japan for 10 days 4. British Hong Kong Tour for 5 days .... These are just ideas which hit me for the second book. ....

Jimmi-Hen means Jimmi Hendrix. His guitar sound incredibly inspired me. It seems loud but definitely it heals me. I don't know why... I had never had such a feeling with rock music before. But his sound is full of energy and passion. I didn't know about him very well but I'm sure he was a powerful man. He put all his energy into his life, I feel like that.

The story is like this... Tomoe met a fortune teller in her neighbourhood. He said that she would have good health, be successful in her business and meet someone new. And this person would come from the north. In the afternoon on that day, she found the four leaves. Also in the evening, she got a message from someone from the north! "Who's that?" She was really curious... ~It's fiction... but hope to become true~...

The life is interesting... Even though Someone betrayed you. Others took advantage of you. Kids were naughty to you. BUT Having a dream about a white rat. Getting appreciation from the kids. Finding four leaves clover. Having a tasty melon. Drawing quite good tarot cards. That's why life is interesting, isn't it! Tomoe believes in her happiness. Even though bad things happened to her, She trusts herself & is sincere to everybody. Those will lead her to good luck!

This is my essay (assignment) about idioms of description about people. This essay is about describing people in the story of "East of Eden". The main character Adam's wife is Cathy, who is as hard as nails, when it comes to bringing up her children, she did not care about her twin boys and throws in a towel. In other words, she is an odd-ball. But this came from her nature, which is a cold fish. Aron, who is the twin son of Cathy's and Adam's, seems to be as good as gold. But I think he is rather a teacher's pet. He behaves as Adam expects. So Adam seems to like him more than Cal. On the other hand, another twin brother Cal is a pain in the neck to Adam and looks like his mother. So he tends to be treated as an odd-ball as well as a lazy-bones from his behaviour. However, he is not like that person. He could end up sharing his love with his father.

Tomoe had a dream, which she saw a white rat in her corridor. Screaming and asking a cat's help, he ignored her and started chasing his GF. And she woke up. According to the fortune teller, the dream with rats doesn't seem good. But if the rats are white, it will be good. For example, you will unexpectedly get large amount of money. She doesn't need big money, but she hopes that saying will be true.

One of my students left me, or I released him from my lessons. It seemed difficult for him to understand what an English language was. I taught him about pronouns for a month. But for him, it was so hard to understand such ideas. It was because our mother tongue has no such ideas about them. Anyway, the more I taught him, the more he hated English. Finally he threw the notebook which I gave away! Such rude! I got actually really angry. But looking back, I realised that how hard he was staying at my lessons. Before learning English from me, he might need to being patient. So I gave up and told his mother that I would quit. After that, I got off my shoulders somehow, and went to the park to job. Jogging made me swept away every bad thing. Let's go jogging!

I haven't written anything on this blog. Just because I couldn't get any ideas about the story. Also the hectic new school year work made me mad... But today, I finally came to feel like writing something. At the community house, Okashi boy who I named to myself hesitated to greet to a lady in the administrative office. She doesn't seem to like children. She was frowning and never smiled. Other children, who learnt from a new young teacher upstairs, never said good-bye to her. On top of that, they didn't care about anyone. Making noise, eating junk food whose bag was thrown away on the floor. So that's why she didn't like children there. However, I pushed him to say good-bye to her when he left there. For my student, he was reluctant to say good-bye, however, the next moment, he showed an awkward smile. And the lady smiled back to him. When I left the community house, she said good-bye to me with full of smile on her face. Just one small thing like this b...

After losing many classes, I focus on finding new students. Standing with fliers at the station, where collage students passed by, I handed out them to the students. Some took but others ignored. That's OK for me even though someone ignored. Rather chillier, more strong wind than usual spring. I was shivering from the cold but kept handing out them. Next week, I will be standing at the station again. If you like to have the flier which is really arty beautiful and pretty, please come to me at around noon on Saturday. Thank u!

I am sorry for my silence of this blog. The thing happened to me last week. My boss told me that I would lose many classes. Because retired teachers will come back to work. However, they've just retired at end of March!! How come they can come back to work??? On top of that, they will take my job! That's why I could't write any blog... I did not feel like writing. But now I started writing, because I cannot help doing that! Anyway.... I will do focus on my study... and my private students. I don't think Japanese education system is good. Because schools should never do like that taking younger's jobs. Oh, if you know someone who wants to learn English or Japanese, please let me know!! Thank you! Next time, I will start writing the story idea or my thesis idea.

I love 80s music. During the time, everybody was dancing, singing and laughing without thinking of the future. Just laughing... that was good but such a life couldn't be lasted... And nobody expected what such modern situation happened to them. In 2010, many people who just laughed in 80s have been struggling from huge debts. During 80s, they must have learnt something .... but they didn't. Tomoe's student Amy's family are just like that... they got Bubble Tragedy. That's why her parents divorced and her mother started working as an assembly worker. Amy feels lonely. Also she got bully... That's sad... Tomoe discussed it with Amy's parents. They realised how they were selfish just thinking of themselves. Even though there were still some problems left, they started to pay more attention to their kid. Tomoe has another student whose family is also poor. But he is strong enough... just like a boy in 50s, 60s or early 70s. He studies very hard to try to help...

I started a new career, which I teach formal Japanese. I realised that Japanese languages are so beautiful if you speak it formally. My student is from India, who is passionate and enthusiastic to learn Japanese. I am sure this student will improve Japanese quickly. Anyway... now back to the story about Amy's bully. She got a bully from her classmate, who was mean but she was a teacher's pet. The teacher was also mean... Actually Amy's parents did not know the reality. So, Tomoe decided to tell the truth to them. And visit each parent, because they got divorced and did not live together. and Tomoe would get to know something new there.

Have you got a bully when you were a child? To be honest, 'Yes.' I got it from teachers when I was in the first grade of both primary as well as Junior high schools. But I never told anyone about this at that time. On top of that, I accused of myself. I think children are like that... they don't know how to blame someone else. Tomoe suspected that Amy got a bully from someone... Maybe from her classmate? (to be continued) But today.. personally... I have to take a rest ... (tomorrow is the deadline for my tax!!) Good night!

Tomoe gave her a banana and an orange. Amy sighed, "Oh... that's it? But it's OK." But,as she was really hungry, she grabbed them from Tomoe and started eating. As if she was like a baby gorilla. "Oh, Amy, you can't eat peels... oh, no...!" Tomoe warned her. "Huh!?" Amy said... and both Tomoe and Amy burst laughing. "Oh, you are like a monkey!"(however, Tomoe didn't tell her that she was like a gorilla.) Tomoe just joked to her. "Oh..no.. no.." Amy was blushing. However, Tomoe felt that Amy was really cute with embarrassing on her face. "Oh, what is that?" Tomoe found Amy had a bruise on the arm. "Oh..no..nothing.." Amy reluctant to say to Tomoe. Tomoe is getting suspect...

I helped one of my friends, who actually did not appreciate my support. (It is sad.) That's why I was a bit depressed for these days. So, I tried to encourage my self and went to the park. Tomoe takes her student Amy (now I made her name) to the park to do exercises. The sky is blue, the air is fresh. That is perfect condition for both Tomoe and Amy. "OK, let's walk!" First, Amy doesn't seem happy, but keep walking, she is getting happy. Because of "Sweets". Amy expects she would get them after walking.. so should Tomoe give her sweets? The answer is .... My students were doing English exercises. At that time, the classroom turned dead silent. I was bored. Putting my hands into the desk, I found papers about 'Life Style for Students'. I started reading it. It was written about kind of sickness for teen aged girls and boys. Obesity, (lung) cancer, smoking, taking drags, swine flu ... Tomoe's student is an obesity girl. She doesn't do exercises. However, her parents are divorced and they try covering affection from letting her eat or get whatever she wants. Junk food, fast food, toys... Moreover, they lift her anywhere, even though it takes for just one second. So, this kid is getting like a pig! But not only that, she is easily get sick as well... So she looks like a pig and got swine flu... What's a shame! ... Tomoe tries to fix her life style.

Simple theatre let actors create more imagination, which they never count on the commercialized theatre sets or costume. Acting can cover everything without them. I like this idea. This idea applies to every situation. I am teaching English to pupils. In this case, when I talk to them in English, they react me in English. That's it! No need commercialized materials, such as an electric board or immature English games... Tomoe's student likes junk food, TV shows. He is brought up under such material society. She will try fixing his life into simpler way.

In the 80s when she grew up, Japanese economy was at the peak. It was not just a dream to have a gorgeous life even for young people. They could get branded bags, clothes, cars and etc. However, they seemed to feel empty all the time. It was because they had hardly ever though of what real happiness was. In other words, the real happiness is different from the happiness to get a gorgeous life. Tomoe was a typical Japanese OL, but she realised what happiness was through her journey. In modern society, people are suffering from long-term recession. Looking back on only glory days is not clever but seeing reality and making things positive are more important. So, I would like to encourage people to see thing with positive thought my book. That is a philosophy of the first book. The second book's is.... I am thinking of education... it is very very heavy... that's why ...today, I am taking a rest so that I can feel free to think of new ideas...

I don't know if it's good to write about this in my story or not... There are some children who are applied to these mental disorders in this world. The kid who Tomoe teaches is poor attention, distracted... However, she tries coping with such situation. ..... think of more ideas tomorrow... zzz....

Tomoe came back to Japan. Soon after that, she got a letter, which asked her if she could be a tutor for a 7 year old boy or not. So, Tomoe decided to accept the request. The boy is 7 years old, which means that he has just turned into 1st grade of primary school. The author would like to make the story like "Emile" & "Sound of Music"... just because Tomoe is a female tutor. Also "Emile" is a kind of bible for the author. She learnt education from that book. As the first book, Tomoe was taken to London after a big typhoon. She got opportunities to learn a life in also Poland, Singapore and Hong Kong. During her travelling, she turned back to mid teens. She could make good friends and meet a good teacher and people through learning English as well as working. After she came back to Japan, she became a school teacher. But she found out the school system there was not appropriate. So she was struggling at the same time, she would try to change it. But she failed and had to leave the school. However, she started writing everything she had learnt overseas. The book appeared at bookstores and little by little, her book was getting popular. At the final scene, she got awarded somewhere in Europe. And she had a feeling which was turning over a new leaf. And now.... the leaf will show her what it is.... She has got a new career which she was offered to do tutorial lessons to pupils... To be continued....

I've got a new cover version of my book. However, as it is a pocket sized book, all the letters in it seem to be a bit small... I ordered 60 copies.... so, those books should be sold for less prices.
