What is Globalisation?
今、私はニューヨークに拠点を置くライティングの学校でエッセーを書くコースに在籍している。ここに在籍した理由は、『自分の意見を言葉にして伝えたい」という単純なものであった。別に日本語でも意見は言えるかもしれないけど、なんとく「これはいわない方がいいな」とか色々考えてしまい、結局、何も言えないままで、しかもそれが溜まってしまい、最後に爆発ということが多かった。だから、自分の意見をしっかり言っている欧米の文化で「自分の言いたいこと」を思う存分いうのはどうかな？っていう発想だけで、入校した訳である。
I enrolled the writing course based in NYC. But my course is online. I am writing essays. What made me to write? Because I want to speak out my opinions. Here, in Japan, we don't say our opinions so often. Maybe writing essays in English is easier for me.
一応、英文学を収めているから、英語は分からなくないけど、いざ始めてみると、文法の間違いやニュアンスの違いなどなど、悩みは一杯だった。（今もそうだけど）結局、校正してくれる人を雇うことにした。それは正解。お金はかかるけど、勉強にもなるし、自分のアイディアをより上手く伝えることができるから。
I can communicate and read English but not perfect. So I decided to have someone proofread my essays. Thanks to my brilliant proofreader, I can focus on thinking over ideas of essays more.
今取り組んでいるのは、「グローバリゼーション」について。無謀な計画だけど、中学のときに習っていた茶の湯を世界に広めたいと思ったこと。でも、すでに色んな人がやっていて、時遅しという感じ。だけど、日本人しか持っていないあの感覚・・・、「わび・さび」というのを伝えられたらって思う。しかも、高尚なレベルというか、一部のお金持ちだけでなく、普通に一般大衆が楽しめる、そういうもの。まだぼんやりって感じだけど、エッセーを書き始めました。完成したら、ブログにアップすると思います。どうかよろしく。
Now I am writing about "globalisation" but what I think of globalisation should be equal to everybody. I mean, if it is for only wealthy people, it will not be nice. I have learnt Sado(Japanese tea ceremony ) when I was a high school student. I cannot forget such a great time. I would like to share people with wonderful sense of Japanese tea. It is PEACE. When it comes to traditional Japanese culture, it seems gorgeous and luxury, but my concerned globalisation is not like that, it opens to everybody, no discrimination , no border between poor and rich.... It should be like that.
