the moment when I was saved.
One of the female teachers told me that most of the students liked me when we were in the farewell party.
Every time I taught in a class, students spoke out what they were thinking. They became more honest than any other class. They wondered many things in life and asked me many questions. That's why they resulted in being excited to talk. So class were full of noises.
But the school where I worked was not favourable to such students voices.
I just wanted to give them opportunities to talk and communicate with teachers to ask their questions. But the reality, there was no time to do that. The schedule was so tight.
But some of the students were very slow learners. They needed to have extra lessons. I decided to offer free lessons to them after school. First, the students were afraid that it might be punishment just because they were slow. But actually not, never. They were chosen for the chance to learn what they need. I taught them essential basic English. Their anticipation was faded away, and they were willing to learn.
In classes, a few students were distracted. One of them suddenly stood up and started hanging round the classroom without reasons. However, they tried to be calm, saying "It's so hard to stay still!". And they tried.
"It's so hard to stay still" the words made me inspired. Because if they didn't learn only for examinations, they would have more motivation. What they do was only to jot English words, sentences or answer questions of grammar. It must be boring and never creative.
Anyway, I was not sure if my efforts or dedication could contribute into their motivation or not. But I got relived in what the words, "Every student liked you a lot."
That convinced me that I had done was right.
