。。 Just like "Bocchan"...

Have you ever read "Bocchan" before? Talking of Soseki Natsume, it is "Kokoro" for me though. When I was 17, I read it in a Japanese textbook. But it wasn't described till end. I was wondering what the conclusion was. So I read the paperback before the night when I would take a test. However, I still remember how I was shocked at the conclusion.

Talking of Natsume Soseki, he went to London to study and got heavy homesick. It was just like me 10 years ago.

We, Soseki (Bocchan) and I have several common things. Studying in London, working at school and quitting it. Also we were from big cities such as Tokyo and Nagoya. I might be cheeky because I parallel between such a great writer and me.

In the end, Bocchan quit the school where he worked. He lost his status but he was happy with his life. The school was a superficial world. Teachers there pretended to have dignity but they were never like that rather lazy. So Bocchan was fed up with the world.

To be honest, I have the same feelings as yours!

If he were here, I would talk with him from the bottom of my heart. By the way, schools are nothing different from the modern and the past, aren't they?

As Bocchan selected, I chose modest life. However, I feel happy! What I wanted to say is that!

maybe to be continued...?
