映画鑑賞 American Beauty アメリカンビューティー

I saw a movie tilted "American Beauty".  It was quite good, described "ordinary" family of the USA with irony.  The family in the movie seemed to be compared to the county of USA, which has had problems such as drugs, human relationships, homosexuals or guns.  Lester (a main character) has empty in his life, just like dead. And then he suddenly woke up looking at his daughter's friend.
映画を見た。タイトルは『アメリカンビューティ』（１９９９年）。なかなか良かったと思う。いわゆる「フツー」のアメリカの家族を皮肉を交えて描いた映画。映画の中の家族は、アメリカの社会。ドラッグ、不倫、同性愛、銃などアメリカが抱える問題を家族にぶちまけている。主役のレスターの人生は空虚そのものだったけれど、娘の友人に一目ぼれしてしまい、突然目覚める。。。

However, I can not get it very much, because he must have been more responsibility for his family, especially his daughter as a father.  .....
でも、個人的には 良く理解できない。なぜなら、彼はもっと娘や家族に対して責任があるはずじゃないかな。

For me, I feel that he looks centre-minded...  I don't know... but it may be right.....  if you have your own family or if you become a father or mother, you should be responsibility and sometimes, you may have to give up something for your children. But you can be happy because you have love for your family.  Oh, yeah...  he had no love with his family, who didn't seem respect him....   They should have discussed before the worst happened.  That is exactly democracy!!  Yes, democracy collapsed! That's why this movie taught us about it.  (Now finally, I came to conclusion!!! )
彼はちょっと自己中かな？分からないけど、でも、そうだと思う。もし、自分の家族がいて、自分が親の立場だとしたら、子供や家族のために何かを犠牲にしなくてはいけないと思う。だけど、それはそれで幸せで、なぜなら、「愛」があるから。 あ、だけど、この映画では、母と娘は父親を尊敬してなかったっけ。。。それで、家庭はどんどん崩壊していったんだ。。。だけど、家族が話し合えば、あそこまでの崩壊は防げたかも。そうそれが民主主義！そうだ、民主主義の崩壊だ！だから、この映画は、やっぱり大切なことを教えてくれてるんだ。（やっと結論に達した）
