Writing Course. ライティング講座♬ Essay & Opinion
前にも、このブログに書いたかもしれないけど、
ニューヨークのライティング講座。
My essay course, in which I learned so many things, will be over in a week.
The school is located in NYC, but I am in Japan.
Yes, I take this course online.
ふとしたことから、通い始めたこの教室。といっても、オンラインで。
オンラインだから、半信半疑だった部分もあるけれど、
書き始めて、すぐに感触みたいなものがあって、すごく楽しかった。
To be honest, I doubt if this course would not be always helpful for me to improve my writing.
But actually it was. It was so nice.
この教室もあと今週で終わり。１０週間のインテンシブ制なのです。
もう少し時間があればなって思うけど、集中して書く事になったから、
結果、良かったかも。
However, it will be end in a week. It is the course only for 10 weeks.
But I ended up concentrating on writing, which is good.
書き上げたエッセイは、１０週間で、１０作品ぐらいかな。
I wrote around 10 essays.
この講座はグループなので、クラスメートの書いた作品を
批評するのも含まれている。自分のも、みんなが批評してくれて、
それをもう一度書き直す・・・。すごく勉強になった。
先生は、ハーバード大学の学位を取得され、ニューヨーク・タイムズとか
有名な新聞・雑誌に記事を書いて活躍されているプロのライターさんです。
でも、すごく腰の低い、生徒の良いところを見つけ、的確なアドバイスもくださる、
本当に素晴らしい女性です。オンラインとはいえ、この先生に出会えたことが
何より活力となりました。本当に１週間でお別れするのは、残念でなりません。
There are some classmates in this course. We exchanged our essays to
gave comments or advice and revise them. That is a good system.
What I am most impressed with is my teacher, who holds B.A. of Harvard collage.
However, she is modest but gives me appropriate comments and advice.
Her words are beyond my expectation. My motivation went high and reached the peak.
I devoted myself to writing.
I know that I am going to miss her.
クラスメートは、ほとんどがアメリカ合衆国の人たちで、
そういう人たちに紛れて講座を受けるのは、勇気がいったけど、
みんな、すごくいい人たちで、なんだか今週で終わるのは名残惜しいな。
Most of my classmates are Americans. I was worried about myself before taking this course,
because I am only Japanese. I was wondering if my English could be accepted by them or not.
However again, they gave me good comments and advice.
They are really really nice people.
実は、次の講座も既に申し込み、始まったばかり。
次は、記事を書く講座。ジャーナリズムの基本を習うことに。。。
My next course has just started...
I am going to keep writing many essays or articles as much as I can.
