to My Friend,

I donated my hair to the organization which my friend suggested. Thank you very much for your advice! I really appreciate that. And I've got a thank you letter from the organisation today. I am very happy with that. I just want to talk about why I donated my hair to the organisation ...    A friend of mine passed away last month, when was just before her birthday.   I had sent her a birthday message, but there was no response from her.  And then, I checked her Facebook Timeline. And I was so surprised because of people's post there....  which said, "rest in peace".  I was quick to scroll down the page, and I found one of her photos which she was smiling with losing her hair.  I was too shocked and couldn't say anything. Just sad feelings hit me. However, she was smiling in all of her photos.  She was that kind of person, who never showed sadness or anger to everybody. Even though she got tired, she worked. She is the kind of person. I...

JAPAN

Japan,   It's very unique but incomprehensible. For example, Manga, which is Japanese culture. But its characters has bigger eyes than typical Japanese. Actually I am not a fan of manga any more.   Maybe it because I was just too faithful for school teachers who seemed to have bad ideas about manga. What they said that manga should disturb students learning, badly influence to their growth or it could be childish.  I ended up developing the idea about manga like this,   "Only teenagers read manga." Spontaneously I put a bit negative image to manga in my mind.  Today, I visited World Cosplay Summit was held in Nagoya, Japan. "Cosplay" can be interpreted "costume play".  Wearing costumes of manga, you would become the character of your favourite manga.  As if you came out of the comic book.   However what made me surprised was that participants were not teenagers, but they were "salaryman", which is Japanese-English, employe...

La Puchi Princesse 1

This is about my book. I did book-talk in 2009 or 2010 in a small book store. Now I started thinking of the second book. But before then, I would like to show what I wrote the first book. Looking back on past 10  years, my life was like a dream. I got almost 3 million yen for my retirement for teh reason of company's business. I tralved a lot.  But I didn't waste of my time & money.... I mean, I didn't like to spend just for fun. I could learn a lot, language, life or whatever... I could meet my relative in the USA, who is exactly my motivation of studying English. I made wonderful frinends from all over the world. But problem is ... I had had no hope in this reality in Japan any more...   I had been getting to be like a dull and lazy middle aged lady ... I had spent much energy for caring about what people saw or said toward me...  like... having different views or tastes from others here. However, I accidentaly ...

during the break

I started writing a story about City, but I totally misunderstood what cities are. So now I've got lost a way of writing and have to re-wirite it soon. If someone who see this bilingugal blog, learn Japanese, it would be great because it helps those people. I would like to show my webpatge. http://www45.atpages.jp/akanespringday/index.html If you would like to study Japanese more or if you would like me to translate somet kind of documents or data into Japanese, please comtact me. So today, I just inform you about my new blog. about City

I think I misunderstand what Cities are. What do you mean? That is, when it comes to Cities, I thought there were only skycrapers and people lived alone. On top of that, they didn't know who lived next door. In other words, the people in Cities would be cold fish because there were no communication among them. Nobody cared who lived and what people did. Isn't that true? Nope.  Not only that. Actually, "Human Hearts" should be more sutable in Cities than in local areas. I just realised that. This type of grocery store still exists in City. You could enjoy communication with people. in Koenji in Tokyo
That summer has come again. She couldn't help getteing back her memory about that summer. Nothing to be expected, hurricane, which was like a gigantic monster, had blown away everything form her. She lost all of things except for one photo. She held it with her and managed to escape such an awful place and then, reached this city.  With some hopes to live her life, she had started looking for her new life. City could be confution as well as lack of humanities. But sometimes, it could be better for some people. Especially, for the people who lost everything and get lost their own way, such words as "Are you all right?" or "I am worried about you." make them more anxious, or rather annoyed. So, for them, lack ...

the people in City

There are many kinds of people shopping in this supermarket. It seems that they look just ordinary people who have any serious problems with their lives. Shopping daily things, such as vegetables, fruits or come groceries. In fact, they have some difficulties. The people who live in City are originally from rural area. Even though they weaf the latest fashion, the background of their photos might show massive rice fields. Talking to them with excitiment, they mgiht use their dialect without consciousness. But reality is that their looking becomes more fashionable.  At the same time, their past cannot be eliminated.
